It was 17 degrees this morning and very windy with the wind chill around zero. If you have to talk about wind chill on March 26th you know you MUST be in Idaho. The streets were coated with a layer of ice from the storm so it had to be a treadmill day.

I decided to do a hill sprint workout that I have not done in years. I warmed-up for 20 minutes and then got in to it. The workout consists of sets of hill sprints at different inclines. I ran 6 reps at 7.5% incline, 6 reps at 10% incline, then 4 reps at 12.5% incline. Then you are supposed to run a mile at 0% but my treadmill only goes down to 1.5%. For that mile you increase the speed 1-1.5mph and you still feel like you are going to bust through the front of the treadmill. I ran that mile in 5:56 and felt awesome.

I then cooled-down for a few miles to round out the workout.

Wow, the weather here was so bad it even drove Bill inside to a TREADMILL? Now you know it was nasty outside!
