At least with the cloud cover it makes running in the later morning not totally unbearable.  I won't even blog about how slow and terrible the run was.  But I always say how grateful I am to go outside and be outside at least once a day.  So I'll stay focused on that fact.  The last few years I've taken sequence pictures while running down the trail and back (in every season of the year) so that I could click through them during times I can't actually be outside.  I haven't had the ocassion to use them (which is good).  So today, the good news is, I was able to be with my river & trees, and enjoy the feeling the sultry summertime air on my skin.  That has to be enough for today.

Glad to "see" you out there running, enjoying the trees and river. Consistency is what counts. Can you believe it's July already? Seems like it was only yesterday that we were running in freezing rain and sipping hot chocolate. Now, it's water melon and fireworks. Hope you're loving your summer days.

I know, that seems like a couple of weeks ago! I was practically hypothermic by the end of that run from my shoes getting wet! And I remember thinking "This is supposed to be Spring!"

Sounds like your body is still recovering from the flu. Good job hanging in there.
