I ran my first marathon as a teenager in 1981 with my Dad (The Coronado Marathon). Since then I've run St, George (3x) Utah Valley (3x) Ogden (1 full, 2 halves) Park City (1 x) Boston Marathon (1x) Washington DC (1x) Moab Half Marathon (6x) ,Ye Old Freedom Festival 5 & 10K (a million x) and many others.
But I'm all done with that now. I'm officially a jogger.
Bleechk. Running today was icky. I had 10 -- yes 10 vials of blood drawn earlier. If you saw that much of your own blood spilled (on the pavement for example) it would make you sick. There is just something wrong about seeing your blood outside of your body in a neat row of tiny vials.

funny, but I like watching my blood draws :) seriously. I think it is just amazing to watch it rhythmically pump into each vial with no impending end. Makes me realize how truly amazing my body is. I know, I'm creepy weird that way. BUT, I've never had more than 6 vials done at a time - so 10 might be a tad creepy.
I can imagine why running would feel icky after that. I hope you are feeling better now. And that the reason for having all that blood drawn is a good one - or they can make it into one anyway.
