Excited to run 8 miles with Cath on Saturday.  She's running 30 miles because it's her 30th birthday.  She's crazy that way, but not as crazy as Smooth who ran 50 for her birthday :)

Happy Birthday Cath!! I got to see her at Park City and kept looking for her at St George. How did she fare through the slam and St George?!? I would've loved to have run 30 with her! I keep toying around with 33 this year :) I might wimp out and do a 33K though.

Cath did well at SGM (another BQ time or close) she took first in her AG in the grand slam and was really happy with that. On Saturday she ended up running 50K (31.25). I met them at the canyon and ran up and back for about 9.5 miles. I brought a birthday breakfast of steel cut oats and dates, bananas and hot chocolate, So we tail gated breakfast in the canyon at the e d of my run--which for her was a little over 20 miles. After a quick stop she went on to run another 11 miles ending at the pier at Utah Lake. Very cathartic, her brother helped her wrap it up. I was just happy to be running outside with my pal and feel good about 10 m/m !
