It felt great to get out and run today. It was drizzling but not cold. In fact, it was the perfect temperature.   I left around 6:15 am, did 4 miles at 8:38 pace, average heart rate was 161--which seems high for that speed.  In fact, on mile #1 I ran 8:47 pace and my heart rate was at 145.  On mile #3, I ran exactly the same pace, but my heart rate was 167. Hmm.. .

Lucky Skunk!! You're finally logging your mileage! Yeah! Nice run today. Maybe mile 3 was a little more uphill than mile 1? That would explain the HR spike.
