Sub 1:10 half by the summer.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Enjoy running and fight off heart disease or diabetes that has been passed on for many generations. Try and break the cycle.

Personal:

I am currently 39 years old. I have a 11 year old girl, Norah, a 9 year old boy, Oliver, and a 6 year old girl, Myla, who are wonderful. I am a SPED Teacher at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah. I also coach the cross country and track teams at Desert Hills High.

7 miles with Trevor looping around Webb Hill. Solid start to the week.

First day of XC for the 2021 season. Lots of fun. Tons of new kids. Should be a fun year.

2 more miles helping some of the newer kids out. 

5.25 miles this evening with Dave around the Mayor's Loop. Great cloud cover and amazing conversation. I miss spending time with him.

6 miles total with Kevin. Planning on some Tinman tempo miles this morning but the stomach was having issues. Felt good through one mile but had to pit stop to feel better. Finished strong though. Lots of work to do. 

4.5 miles with the girls this morning. Lots of promise with the TEAM this year. Pretty excited.

12 total miles this morning. 8 miles total with Kevin. We did 12x400m repeats. 1:20-1:25 per lap. Nothing fancy. Nice to get the body moving. The last couple didn't feel great but I got it done. 

4 miles with the TEAM this morning towards Little Valley.

4 more miles in the afternoon. Slight breeze and cooler temps made it nice.

Ran down the second half of the marathon course with Kevin this morning. Temps were cold at the start. Felt good. Eased into it and then just cruised for the entire run. Felt solid. 14.70 total miles at 7:04/mile. Nothing crazy but a solid way to end the week. I can feel the body slowly coming around. It has been a while since I've pushed like this. I need it.
