Sub 1:10 half by the summer.

Enjoy running and fight off heart disease or diabetes that has been passed on for many generations. Try and break the cycle.

Personal:

I am currently 39 years old. I have a 11 year old girl, Norah, a 9 year old boy, Oliver, and a 6 year old girl, Myla, who are wonderful. I am a SPED Teacher at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah. I also coach the cross country and track teams at Desert Hills High.

4 inches of snow in St. George this morning! Crazy to see this kind of weather. Went with the kids out to run the Jem Trail and the More Cowbell Trail. Absolutely gorgeous conditions. I got home and ran a few more miles.

4 miles this afternoon while my parents rode their bikes alongside me. 6:40/mile and finished with a 5:54 mile. Feeling frisky.

6.5 miles in the afternoon. Did the warm up and then got things started for the distance crew workout. Fun first day of track. Did a few more miles when I got home.

10 miles running this morning in the snow. Loads of fun. 7:28/mile. Not too often I get to run in snow in St. George. Late state for school. The roads were fine but everyone wanted to be safe.

6 miles total this afternoon. 1000s and some finishes. This was a big get back on track workout for the distance crew. Everyone seems to be getting over sickness which is nice. Great workout from everyone today.

17 amazing miles on part of the Red Mountain course. Ran the first 8 with the TEAM and then did Barrel Roll and extended a little on Black Brush. Lots of snow and mud made for a fun adventure. Clipped my foot and crashed pretty hard. My thumb got the brunt of it. Probably will lose the finger nail.

Great way to end the week. Excited to race next weekend on my birthday.
