I was kinda' nervous for this all day, cuz we don't usually bring spikes to practice, unless it's a time trial, and we are done with those for this season, so.... During the DI warm-up, my legs felt like junk, that also made me think I was not gonna do so well in this timed mile. Taylor said she felt great, so I was thinking that Taylor would beat me. But I thought wrong! I beat her! That made me SO happy! I ran with Preston for the whole thing, he's a good pace maker. I couldn't really start my kick at the end until I had 50 yards left... But I guess I got a pretty good time for not running on the track for a whole season... I feel good about it now, but I know I will get a faster time in the mile in track season. |
