AM: 8 miles in Pendleton. It rained a bit along with the wind so not ideal conitions  The hill back to the hotel was long and steep but I survived ;).

4 miles around the park in my Five Fingers.  There was some guy spraying who knows what on the plants so hopefully I don't die after breathing in the chemicals.  It felt great to run in these shoes again.

10 miles on the Tigard HS loop.  It's been over two months since I ran this loop and I enjoyed every minute of it.  I got a little winded during the tempo sections but I'd rather be winded and running instead of injured and doing nothing.

3 miles to warm up followed by 5 miles tempo.  Splits were: 5:52, 5:56, 5:50, 5:38, 5:42 and then a two mile cool down.  I'm pleased with how things went.  During the first mile I thought I might have to alter the workout and just go 2 or 3 miles tempo-pace but I felt okay to finish.  Good stuff.
