Took 10 days off.  For some reason, despite running a PR, my body was 100% by Wednesday of last week and I could have ran with zero issues.  Figured I was due for some days off as it's been a solid 3-4 years of pretty consistent running.

It felt good to get back outside and to go for an easy jog.  I was out the door at 5:15 as i had to make it quick and get back in time to leave for Roseburg the the Evergreen breakfast w/ work.

I think when you run a negative split race and finish strong (as opposed to hanging on for dear life at the end) you bounce back a little quicker. But still, taking the down time was a smart move. Just because you feel OK doesn't mean you are really recovered. Running a PR marathon takes a lot out of you.
