10 miles @ the park in fivefingers. The Portland Balloon Festival is this weekend (starting this morning). It actually takes place in Tigard and I counted 9 hot air balloons in the sky, rising from a park less than 1 mile from my house & where I was running. In fact, as it started to rain, one of the balloons landed @ the Tualatin Park where I was running laps, no more than 30 feet from me. Pretty cool.

Yeah, I like diversions like that as well. I run near an airport sometimes and catch the fighters completing drills. Noisy, but amazing how fast they move into the clouds.
