This was a true Monday. There was nothing that went wrong, but I felt *blah* all day and just wanted to sleep or take a holiday from being a Mom. That defines a true "Monday" to me - inherently a bummer due only to its existence. ;o)

My legs felt great on today's run and my pace is finally back to where it was before Thanksgiving, without pushing it. Mentally, I kept trying to look for a way to shorten my run (see above paragraph), but my legs just kept going. lol

I feel like that a lot too! Sometimes I look at it like eating the whole apple at once instead of one bite at a time! But I think just getting out on a Monday sometimes is worth some commando points! Good Job!!

Tag, you're it! Good job Laura. I felt blah too. Our connection continues...

Great job getting out. This is the hardest time of year! Its cold and too many distractions w/ Christmas around the corner! Thanks for your comments on my blog! Yeah, I think the cold is just bad enough to keep me in bed in the morning too long. Once I got going today I was fine- so I'm going to drag my running legs out of bed in the morning (made a date w/ a running partner so I'd HAVE to get up!)

Okay...maybe you're going to hate me for this comment but I love Mondays. I force myself to do absolutely nothing on Sundays so on Mondays I am so excited to be able to work on things again.....sewing, baking..whatever it is I'm interested in. Maybe your Sundays aren't boring enough....I always always take a really long nap when my babies are sleeping and ignore my older children. I so very much sympathize with the blah feeling. Sounds like you must be getting in shape because your legs knew what to do and kept going...

Laura, the first step out the door is always the hardest. Many days when I don't feel like running turn out to be great runs. Funny how that works.
