I did it, Lybi!!  Thanks for your motivation - 8 miles on the treadmill (while watching Stardust - cute movie; I love it)  Wahoo!!!  The first mile was 11 pace while the others were all 10:00 at a 2% incline.  The last 1/2 mile, I cranked it up to 8:50 pace so I could get it over with quicker.  Ha!  My left hip is feeling tighter after running lately.  Tomorrow I'm making an appointment with my chiropractor - hold me to it!!

... now I need to shower and get to bed before midnight.  ha!

Good job, Laura! Do you often run in the evening? I always run in the morning because I think I'll be too tired in the evening. Maybe I should try it. I'm looking forward to hear how you do on your upcoming race!

Thanks, Carolyn. No, I prefer to run in the mornings also. But when my husband's out of town, I usually run in the evening on the treadmill after the kids are in bed - since they go to bed early.

I had my first nightmare about my race last night - I dreamt it was actually running AND swimming and I wasn't ready to swim! Ha! Lybi (my little sister) says that having nightmares means I'll do well. Hmmm. :o/

Good girl! I KNEW you would do it! That is quite a workout with the elevation and everything. Sheesh! You continue to surprise me with your progress.
