90 minutes bikrim (hot 110 degrees) yoga on lower east side with a work colleague. Honestly, it wasn't that hard. I am already heat trained from running in the hot and humid San Diego summer! More hard moments during my long run last Sunday.

Good luck on your race this weekend. I did Bikram during law school for a while. I wasn't in very good shape so I wonder how I'd do now. I still have a runner's flexibility and range of motion.

Once I tried it drunk after beer on the beach and got a DNF.

Beer on the beach! Ha! Yes!! Miss that... Went out to dinner after hot yoga. I would not recommend rehydrating w alcohol either!

Actually I learned a good lesson from hot yoga. There were some moments when I was feeling uncomfortable and I had to concentrate harder to stay in a pose. I am going to apply this to the race on Sunday. During the inevitable suffering moments, I need to focus instead of disassociate. Believe with the mind, and the body will follow--so says the yogi.
