Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

At the UV Marathon today I had a great time! Not a great time, but I planned on that. Sometimes it is nice to swap a great time for a great time. I chatted with more people on this marathon than I ever have before. I met people from Australia, Canada, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, many Utahns and even someone from Boise! :o) I met people doing their first marathon and a guy doing his 119th marathon. Alison was a 14 year old girl who looked like she was 11, doing her first marathon. There was this cool older guy doing his 19th....he said it was going to be his last....he didn't need to make it to 20 because 19 would be more of a conversation piece. The wind was crazy, I'm glad I was there for a good time this time and not for a good time. :o)

Good times! Running should be fun, especially since we don't make money at it ;-). Good to see you, and loved all the photos!

Sounds like a lot of fun. It's good to sit back and enjoy the show sometimes. :)

I love this aspect of racing. It's great to slow down once in a while and enjoy the people and their accomplishments.

kim, 400 commando points for attitude, something can be said about running a marathon without the pressure of a PR goal. Running can be at its best on the worst of days.
