Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

I didn't go out and do hills with Tom today because of the UV half coming up on Saturday.  I slept a bit longer and then went out and joined in with a few different people along the way.  I was fine outside, but now that I am indoors the allergies are hitting me hard!

Kim, do you have a goal for the half? It seems your conditioning should put you under a 1:38? Good luck

Hey Brent, Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm not quite sure what to have for a goal for this. I haven't raced a 1/2 for a while so I'm not sure where I am at with things. I think I will shoot for 1:45 and see how things go. If I slipped down under 1:40 you know I will be having a big smile on my face as I blog my report. Only time will tell.....
