Did the temple loop this morning. I felt pretty good, so I pushed the pace a bit. More than four of the five miles was at lactate threshold or above. My legs were definitely feeling the burn by the time I finished the long uphill section. Finished more than a minute faster that last week. After a 8:03 pace for the first mile, dropped to 7:49 for the second. Took it easy from the temple to the white church (8:33 pace) and then pushed it up the long hill (9:26 and 8:26). Finished the last half mile at 7:35 pace or better (6:20 for the last quarter). Going to take Sasha's advice and do a 3 mile easy run tomorrow. |
