Short-Term Running Goals:

Run twice a day, everyother day. Build mileage to about 60 mi. per week. Find a winter marathon to run.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Find my limits at age 46/47/48...and on and on and on.

Personal:

I am very happily married to a wonderful lady. She is my biggest fan. I have two wonderful kids, 4 great step children, and two step grandsons. I teach Elementary school PE.

I'm back. I had a nice run this morning. Easy 5. Just getting the legs going again. We spent the week-end putting on the Laughlin/Runnercard Half Marathon. I didn't get a chance to run this week-end, so I am excited to get my miles back up this week.

 

This afternoons run was my usual counter clock wise run. Pretty windy, but good temp. 6:26 Ave. mi. I am a little sluggish after a week-end of casino food.

Ran my regular route without the Snow canyon mile. It was late and dark. I ran carefully. I felt pretty good, but hungry.

I ran my usual counter clock wise. I felt very sluggish and weak for the first few miles. (that may have had something to do with the fact that I was running up hill against the wind, I don't know) Anyway at about mile 7 I picked it up and put in a coupld of sub 6 miles. Then I coasted in with some 6:30's. Total ave. 6:24
