I called today my coming out run. I was hoping I would go to intervals and feel great... and I did!!! While I felt like crap the last few weeks I kept remembering Kellies post a while back after SG when she said "this was the first time I felt good since the marathon" and I couldn't wait until I got to say it too!

So... this is the first time I felt good since the marathon.  What a relief to be able to say that.

And my friend is in town visiting, so she got to go to track practice with me which was awesome.

6x800, faster with each, starting at 3:19, ending at 2:57

Good to hear you're recovering well; I know how frustrating it can be trying to get back into the swing of it after a long race. Way to hammer the speedwork!

Thanks! I knew today was going to make or break my recovery motivation, because I am so tired of feeling horrific. So for the first time since my marathon I'm actually excited to run again, which is a great feeling. I can't imagine what it feels like to have to recover from 100 miles...
