At my layover in the Athens airport. We are spending the night here because it's too expensive to stay at a hotel.  It's 4:30 though, and I've only slept an hour and it looks like I am done. Uncomfortable air port benches and a constant cough don't make for good sleep.  Hopefully I will get some good sleep on the plane. I wish there was a shower in here somewhere, then I would use up some time by going for a run.

I got news yesterday that my grandmother passed away, so I got my flight changed and I am heading to Maryland.  Another good reason why I am longing for a soothing run.  As of right now I am allowing myself to be in denial so that I can deal with the traveling.  Then when I am home with my family I can take care of everything.

I am so sorry for you loss. Loosing someone is really had, but God will help you through it. When i lost my dad a few years ago, Gods peace is what really helped me through it. You and your family will be in my prayers.

I was so sorry to read about your grandmother. I hope the memorial service is a healing experience for you and your entire family.

Best of luck as you adjust back to your normal routine after traveling so far away and dealing with illness, jetlag, and personal loss. I went through the jetlag and sickness parts of the process a couple of months ago and found it to be a little frustrating. Don't let it get you down.

I am sorry to hear that you lost your grandmother. Take care and take some time to spend with family!
