Yesterday we got on a storm that supposedly dropped a tornado, but it we were in no position to get to that part of the storm.  We did go near the core though and experience a little hail and what not.  Drove to Brownwood, TX where we spent the night. No pics yet. Looks like today we will do some tourist stuff nearby and home something pops up later in the afternoon.

Ran through town around the hotel, maybe a little more than 6. Lots of people cleaning up their yards, picking up what is left of their trees.  Some flooded roads.  Ran at 7:15 and it was crazy humid.  Moderate run with some surges and a fast start and finish. Ran okay but didn't feel great. Probably a little tired from Thursday.

Chasing tornados or chasing ice cream? or maybe just chasing the ice cream truck that the tornado picked up?

I actually realized this morning we haven't gotten any ice cream yet since we've been out here. May need to get that done today.

The tourist traps of Brownwood are pretty much the same as here in the great city of Alpine. It pretty much comes down to sitting in parks playing frisbee and watching the radar for 6 hours.
