Thursday 5k tempo run. I felt pretty tired, but I think it was my second fastest time so maybe that is why. I am pretty sore today. I have been having too many negative thoughts go through my head while I run. And every time I run I think about how I am never running again. Then when I am finished I forget how miserable I was and put myself through it again. I don't know why I am feeling so "miserable" when I run but I need to get over it. I have on and off days with feeling good, but even if my body feels good I sometimes don't enjoy it. I think it's because I run all my workouts kind of hard, since they are all group workouts. But isn't that the point?

Nice job as always!

My advice: take some easy days, run by yourself or with a friend, run slow and chat and have fun!

I knew you of all people would understand Kelli! I am struggling to find motivation right now. And my legs are tired too. So I am doing a less speedwork and taking things easier. I think once my legs feel better it will get me excited to run again. It's supposed to be fun, not miserable!

I am the queen of lack of motivation, for sure! However, i have had a bit too much ice cream this summer, so my weight gain and lack of fitting clothes should be motivating me!!!

How are you feelin' now?
