4 today on the dirt mile (2 loops).  I felt a little tight at a couple points, but only for like a minute then  I went back to feeling relaxed and controled breathing.  I have been watching the olympic trials and some other older races and I use to dislike Galen Rupp, but that was because Tyson and Coach said they didn't like him, but I think he's one of my favorite now...I mean he had to put his shoe back on and still won an NCAA title...that's impressive!  Anyways,  I was watching his form, which is really strong and relaxed, and I have been trying to improve mine (not change, because that has jacked me up in the past).  I am going to do core and strength workout today and maybe some flexibility stuff.  Still really excited for xc to start!  Updated my goals on the block!

Rupp is super smooth. You would never guess he's running as fast as he is by watching him.

Seriously...him and the Africans have that in common...they make it look WAY too easy!

Oh. Casey I should tell that for your goals. I will for sure bleed so much that I will come to death! :)

I don't know that I ever said I dislike rump - I just like a lot of others a lot more. Plus he really is a primadonna - a fast, hardworking one, but still...

Oh how's he a primadonna? I didn't get that from him...I more like him because his form really...'cause it's so good!

From Holt on Tue, Jun 26, 2012 at 14:54:21 from 67.2.240.4

Great form, GREAT runner. But he and his coach are a bit over the top in the mask for allergies, the working together since middle school, blah blah blah...

From caseykimzey on Tue, Jun 26, 2012 at 14:58:30 from 174.23.97.165

yeah...it is a little weird with the mask...considering he always pulls it off...i don't think he really needs it...
