These miles felt like they took forever.  Clocking in at a pedestrian 71 minutes, I guess they did.  The good news is, that's a m/m faster than yesterday.  Ugh.  There is no sign of bounce in my legs today, either.

somedays it just goes that way. Even for peeps like Allie and Andrea. But not Jake. I think he has superhuman powers.

you're normal. don't get discouraged. :)

You'd be surprised, Lily, if you saw the pace of some of my runs. No superhuman powers. I have my days where I feel like crud - I've just learned when to back off a little early to prevent them from happenings.

Kam per your question yesterday - I think a 2 weeks taper is pretty good. And plus we get a whole extra taper weekend since Boston is on a Monday.

Thanks, Jake and Lily. I think I'll complete one more average (for the last 4 months) week, and then ease into a nice taper.

What are your thoughts on my planned 1/2 marathon on April 7th? I"m beginning to think it's too close for comfort...

I'm running it too Kam. Marathon pace and not a step faster... maybe even like 5 seconds slower/mile than MP. Just using it as my last longer workout. Ideally it would be 2 weeks out... but if you dont really race it like a normal 1/2 marathon, I think you'll be OK.
