I think it's time to put these shoes into the lawnmowing pile, but they are still pretty good for shorter runs.  I hopped out for a quick 5, and surprisingly did a quick 5.  I enjoyed the frog chorus down on Legacy, and many foul and fair aromas as I passed horse pastures and wisteria.  Temp was perfect, and I wore my HRM.  130's feel rock steady and indefinitely sustainable.  Anything in the 140s seems considerably harder.  At the tail end, I opened up to (my) fast speed, and got up to 160.  More useless numbers.  Overall pace: 7:30.  I need to quit calling those fast miles, since my goal marathon pace is more like 7:00.

I wish the default setting wasn't times new roman.  I'm so sick of that font.

Your blog looks out of place...I am so used to New Romans. It is a nice change!

7:30 is fast, don't make us slower runners feel bad!! :)

You definitely aren't a slower runner. Congrats on qualifying for Boston. I hope you can make the trip next year; it's really unforgettable.

I need to make a switch in my head about what's fast if I want to improve.

Not fast compared to 7:10! I'd be puking if I ran 10 at that pace! haha! I know what you mean..I would like to get faster too. I hope I can run Boston. I have heard it is hard to register, so I am a bit worried about that.

3:03:24 = 7 minute pace. Nice goal! I'd love to hit it too! I still need to take a chunk out my 3:28, which I should have done at Boston but didn't. My next stop is appox 3:15 then I'll push for a low 3.

Then from there it's sub 3. When does it end?

Interesting observations regarding the flood situation you mentioned in your previous post. It's getting scary.
