Biggest Loser Progression run.  I made it to 8 miles and 8.6 mph by the end.  My legs felt springy this afternoon, which translated into a nice run for the first time since Sat.

Also, at work I threw down a 6 minute plank.  That's right, 6 continuous minutes, a new PR.  Few things are more uncomfortable than a plank, so I'm going to keep practicing them, putting the pain aside, and finding new mental compartments.  That can only help with the final grueling miles of a marathon.

6 minute plank? That is insane! Nice work Kam.

excellent planking. that is exactly why i do it -- training the mind to not give in to the physical torture.

Springy legs this soon after a grueling 10 mile race in the middle of a 20 mile run is pretty impressive. Sounds like you are recovering well. How's the knee?

I need to take the plank challenge. I think I might have 3 minutes with good form under me now....the challenge begins. 6 mins! I don't know. 10 mins straight, huh.

I'm writing poems today...

Kam likes to run to the Biggest Looser. No once can call him snoozer.

He made it 8 miles, but what he's really proud of is his familie's 8 smiles:)

He threw down a 6 minute plank, he's torso never sank!

A day of PR's, a year of PR's. Boston bound, he'll be among the stars!

Rachelle and allie, Planks are fun. Planks are fun. I think a good mantra would be "A six minute mile is easier than a 6 minute plank."

Andy, the knee is only bothersome, not troublesome. And Tara, thank you for the lovely, inspirational poem.
