I met up with Andy and Tara for the long run.  We took LPT to State Street Farmington, then home on Main.  It was 19 degrees when I left; 2 shirts and a jacket were sufficient, although it took my hands two miles to overcome the numbness.  The miles sure go by quicker when you have some company!  We scared all the ducks overnighting in non-frozen water, and the sunrise was quite pretty.  I feel okay after this run, and very hungry.  The long runs seem to target my hips, upper quads and core  That was my longest run since TOU.

So next Sat, we are going to do a "little big" workout.  14 miles, with 8 slow, then 2 miles at 6:45ish, 1 mile recovery x2.  It's going to be a lot of fun, so don't forget to sign up early.

Thanks for meeting up today. Wish I could make the "little big" run next week. You know I'll be looking for running partners again in two weeks.

You just signed up by leaving a comment. It's a tricky way of ensnaring unsuspecting participants.

My wife upped the ante for the "little big" workout Saturday. Belgian waffles afterward, so let me know a) if you are coming to run, and #2, if you are interested in eating afterward. I really cannot oversell these waffles. They are top of the line.
