| 15 minute VO2 Max today for the first time this track season. 2.75 mile warm up then we hopped on the track and got started. I felt pretty flat today, but it's kind of what I expected without much hard mileage or speedwork since cross ended. I still ended up PRing so that was good. I'm excited to get started with track and get running fast again. Finished practice off with a 2 mile cool down and some plyometrics.

| 9 miles easy today. Stopped at 4 miles to help get a couple of kids get their truck out of the sand, which took quite a while. Pretty good run overall, even if it wasn't the funnest trail ever. Kept it arid in my biosphere. #teamdrytumbleweed

| Today we went out to the Dixie Center to do our tempo run. We did about a 2.5 mile warm up, 15 minute tempo, and around 2 mile cool down. The pace wasn't super fast today, my breathing felt fine, but my legs felt pretty tired for some reason. Good workout.

| .5 mile warm up on the track, then 6 miles easy on the trails with 8x100m strides afterwards. I felt pretty good.

| Today we did a 10 minute tabatta-style workout on the track. I felt pretty good for about the first 7 or so minutes, but after that my breathing was not as good as it usually is, and it seemed harder than it should've been. I really liked the style of the workout and I think that these types of workouts will really help to build my endurance as well as my finishing speed.

| Woke up this morning to go run the Zen trail and my throat felt pretty sore. Possibly why I didn't fell as well in the workout yesterday. I felt pretty good for the first half of the run, but the last 4 or 5 miles I felt like I was breathing through a straw and I was totally drained of all my energy. Felt like that for pretty much the rest of the day but I pounded the vitamin c so hopefully I'll get better soon.
