I went a bit farther than I had planned today, but I was also able to take care of some errands during my run.  My legs are feeling good after last week, so that's encouraging.  Tomorrow will be interesting.  I'm debating whether I will do mile repeats again or if I'll try something different.  But today was a good start to another week.

I did 1.5 warmup then 3 1-mile repeats in 6:24, 6:20, and 6:17 with 1/2 a mile recovery between.  I did a 2.5 mile cooldown after.  Since I had a shorter recovery time in between repeats and still went about 3 seconds faster per mile than last week (and I've been building miles), I'm pretty happy with the workout.  I'd like to get these down under 6 consistently, but I think that will come as I keep doing some type of speedwork and, more importantly, keep increasing miles and maintaining a good aerobic base.

I went 6.5 with Zach just around Riverside and the campus generally.  It was a good run, and felt like a pretty good recovery run.

I went running with Zach again, just around Riverside.  We went up to Islander Park and ran at the trails there and then just sort of ran around, finishing with a little bit in fivefingers.

I started with 7 pushing Joshua in the stroller around campus.  Then I ran by myself to Andulka Park, did 6 miles there and then ran back.  Then I finished with 2 miles in fivefingers to wrap it up.  21 total.  I was planning on 20, so this was a good run.  I've actually felt quite good all things considered and hope that it continues as I keep building and maintaining mileage.
