Very Easy hill run included.  6.25 @ 8:52 pace.  Enjoyed the sunlight!!!  And yay  I just completed my 5th out of  7 night shifts!!  Now I get three off.  They always go by so quickly but I am so happy to arrived at this point again!!  Going long tomorrow...hope I can waken early to join my friends.  I guess I will just force myself to.  Did power lunges up and down the stairs at AF hospital times 17 minutes at 330am.   Used coworkers iPod and had great workout sweating it out to the beat.  I got so revved up I could have gone for run around the halls : D.

I'm cracking up picturing you doing power lunges on the stairs at the AF hospital at the wee hours. I'm glad you DIDN'T run around the halls. That would freak out the patients.

Hallelujah for working 5 night shifts in a row! That would kill me. Enjoy the next 3 off nights, I know they do go by quickly especially on weekends. Have fun with your long run tomorrow...so nice to have friends to run with and to get you out the door EARLY!

Yeah for 3 days off! Nice how you squeeze in a workout at work haha! Have a fantastic, strong, long run tomorrow!

thanks gals. Smooth we will be running on the JRP where you started last Saturday (hope I can find it : D). We are actually leaving later than usual. It may be tougher for me because that is the time I am usually hitting the covers. I remember you writing about a construction area on the JRP. Can we figure this out well if we are newbies on the trail? Hope to "run" into you tomorrow. I can't believe you are running 22!!!!!

April--my running partner Kim and her friends wanted a fun long run instead of our same old same old. I have got some big tricks up my sleeve for the them-- "The Big Workout 18 miler Revised Edition". I just think it helps the miles pass and get some pace work in. Should be interesting. Kim will probably kick my butt.

Julie ~ The construction zone is about 0.5 mile north of the start which is at 1500N. Last Sat. we were able to get over the flimsy fence, get down, up and around the giant dirt mount and back on the trail. If this is not doable tomorrow, you can run a little ways back to a park, then out to the neighborhood and back on the trail.

Mile 4 and 5 are uphill passing the windmill to Camp Williams/Veterans Cemetery. The south portion is rolling 4 miles to the trail closure. It used to go all the way to the lake.

Also about 2 miles out on the south portion, you will come to a parking area and some a camp ground. Be sure to go right, thru the camp ground, there's a port-a-pottie by roadside and the trail will pick back up for another 2 miles. GOOD LUCK! It's a nice 18 miles round trip. You car will be your aid station for the start, mile 10 and finish if you run north first! Have fun!

wooo!!!! I am confused. I thought the trail goes all the way past the point of the mount to behind the prison or something to Bangeter. It doesn't? It goes towards the lake west? Oh boy!! So what you are saying is go north and do a loop de loop then go south on the trail. I am going back to the map. Be right back. Thanks Smooth!!

BTW I have a very tired brain so I am EASILY confused.

I am starting to catch the vision. You are sooooo helpful. We would have been taking backroads to Bangeter, hilarious : D. This will be much better to have a fuel station.
