Have fun and enjoy the process Personal: I am married with 3 lovely children 29, 21, 15 a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue. Love to run and be outside. I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible. Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it! |

| I came down to ST G for my sons spring mountain bike training. Went for a run Friday on some hard sandy trails and ran into Steve Hooper. He told me there was a race today so I thought I'd try and hold my BQ quality pace which I did. Felt good

| I started this not sure how it would go, having a glute injury and not running the past 2 weeks. Started with Kristen and felt okay. Did well through the 1st climb. Before I knew it we were dropping into Hobble Creek. I felt good but it was getting hot. I stayed on top of my hydration and nutrition really well but just started to feel really tired and my feet were really starting to hurt ( the same thing that happened in Bear, chaffing on the bottoms of my feet) my right ankle and knee were hurting I think from compensating for my glute. Miles 30-41 were brutal for me, I wanted to get a helicopter to come pick me up😂. I did have some sweet men that kept me going and at the end I kept them going. This was definitely a challenge for me and wonder if I’ll do it again. I had some very kind and loving friends come to the finish. ❤️❤️
