1st place overall womans in Spanish fork 1/2 marathon, Tristate 1/2 marathon, Death Valley 1/2 marathon, and the Utah Valley marathon (4-12-08)

I am married with 3 lovely children 28, 20, 14 and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Slept in today, that was heavenly.  I did 35 mins on the elliptical and 15 on the bike, my seat was sore at first I guess I am not use to the bike form behind.  Legs feel rather nice.

Josse, was it Hammer Gel you liked? I picked some up at Good Earth today. They claim to make it with Natural ingredients. I have always used GU. Anyway I thought maybe I should at least take some once in a while. I have been doing all my runs before eating and taking no water with me, probably not always good unless detoxing. Anyway, great for you for getting to sleep in. I recommend that tonight as well. Happy Zzzzzzssss!!

I do really like hammer gel, but have been using accel gel in my last two marathons because it has protein in it and have switched to better ingredients as well. The protein helps me better than just strait carbs.
