Personal:

I am married with 3 lovely children 28, 20, 14 and a dog named Koda and a cat named Blue.  Love to run and be outside.  I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible.   Life flashes by in the blink of an eye, enjoy it while it last and remember there is a lot more to life than running. I coach high school swim and love it!

Welcome to marathon week where every run feels harder than it should, all the aches and pains come to the surface, and you can stop think about splits.  Don't worry you will do just fine, believe in your training.

Got up not as early as usuall to run an easy 6, did 5 on my own and 1 with the dog.  Run felt hard than it should.

Good luck with the marathon this week. I hope your able to make your goal time and that all of your training pays off. Wish I were running it as I would love to try and stick with you and the rest of the group that is hoping to finish around the 3:00 mark. Good luck.

Thank you for saying everything I was thinking all in one tiny paragraph. I need perspective!

Every ache and pain so present in your mind on 4-6 mile days--more time and energy to freak out about it and check your splits. I hear you. I didn't wear my Garmin today for that very reason. You know what Bonnie said to me last week? I'm sure someone has said it to you before---but it's more true for you than for me, 'the hay is already in the barn'. You've already done the work. You ARE already ready. So rest up, and know you've done the work. Don't doubt yourself for a second. You CAN, CAN, CAN. But you know that already....!

Thanks for all the support. It should be a blast with some pain involed:)
