Ran the Provo city half but wasn't reg. my goal was to just get in a good solid training run and run faster than last year 20 weeks prego. I knew that wouldn't be hard. Warmed up 2 with Ericka and started the race running the 1st mile with Mac, Aubury and Holly but knew I would not be able to hold there pace. I had fun and helped some people to run faster than they would have. Pooped out in the end and feel bad for the full marathoners because it is hot out there. I ran it in a 1:42:40/7:50 so over 10 mins faster than last year, happy with that. my splits are 1- 7:04 2-7:26 3-7:21 4-7:41 5-7:37 6-7:53 7-8:00 8-7:55 9-7:59 10-8:07 11-8:10 12-7:38 13-8:44 died on the over pass and was mentally done .1 1:00 Felt good about the run, this half is a hard one. It is basically flat with the end being slightly uphill. I figure I should run around a 1:37 in Ogden based off what I did last year. So that is what I will shoot for.
