5 miles today. im a litttttle bit frusterated beucase i have felt sooooo good all week and last and finally starting to feel good and not hurting (cuz my butt and hams have been bugging me i think from a combination of sitting so much for school, it being colder outside, and rebuilding for mileage). But i think a combination of hard weights and a faster run did it for me. my hamstrings hurt so bad. like my lungs felt amazing and i just wanted to go so fast but my legs wouldnt let me. i know if somethings going to be wrong, now is the time for it to be so beucase i have 6 weeks until the season starts, its just annoying. i was going so slow and my legs were just hurting to even move.
stretch and pt exercises really good. ive been doing my pt every day and its seemed to be helpinng my piriformis not tighten which is soooooooo good. im grateful for that tremendously. my hamstrings on the other hand, i need to figure something out.
i was gonna try and bump up mileage a little this week, but i think im just gonna keep it at 5-6 for now.
