Wellll, I'm not complaining, im just.... complaining. Lets just say today was definitely not the best workout ever. it was the first day back since conference and We had a 2 mile warm, 4x400, 4x200, 8x100, which doesnt sound bad, and ive done it before and really liked the workout alot. So i thought today would be good, but it was so unbelievably windy. i have never actually thought i was going to blow away until today- like for reals. My legs were so tired and heavy, and all the great workouts ive been having made me very discouraged cuz today was not one of those days.
I know its partially my own fault, cuz i havent been great at sleeping this week, or drinking alot of water or eating super healthy cuz i tend to slack a little when we dont have organized practice. i also dont think it helps that i took a couple days off and only did easy runs, cuz sometimes it takes me a sec to get back to the speed- hopefully thats just the case.
And to top it off, apparently my form sucks so bad that i now get to do this super sloowwwww robotic walk alllll the way around the track after every practice now, which honestly takes like 20 minutes. On a normal day, this probs wouldnt have discouraged me, its just been a long one.
On the bright side tho, Cam Levins is in Cedar for like a month and he told me good job (which was a lie) but ill take it cuz an olympian told me good job so thats cool.
