Today honestly was my best run of the summer. it wasnt neccessarily fast or anything, like 8:20 average but i just slept in and chilled for a sec and just went out on my own which i havent done in a while. i didnt worry about pace and i ran to bicent and did some grass loops barefoot and some strides and it felt soo good! I definitely needed one of those days because i havent just felt good on a run in sooo long. it was actually a good motivator and reminder of why i like running so much. There was no one there pushing the pace or making me feel bad for not being able to run 7:00 pace and it was nice.
