| Lunch- tried running on my knee, which I hadn't done in a few days due to pain. Made it 1 mile before I pulled the plug. One stinking mile. Going to see a sports med doc tomorrow. Self-diagnosis is torn meniscus, but we'll see what the expert says. It's funny- I broke my toe at home, and then injured my knee at Ikea. I don't get injured running, just the other areas of life. You would think mountain running would be more hazardous than shopping and walking at home. Nope.

| AM- only had a few minutes before going to the temple this morning and wanted to get some physical exercise, so tested out the knee with a short run in the rain. Ran 2 miles easy, then wanted to do a big quicker, so did a 6:40 and 6:25. Felt good to run a bit faster. Knee felt... ok. It better improve because, after 4 years, I finally was drawn in the Western States lottery. June 27, See you in Squaw.
