I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

Stayed up too late watching the broncos, so skipped the morning run. Besides, no need to go overboard with miles.

Lunch-11 miles listening to adventures from the marathon last weekend.

Sandy might dump 2-3 feet of snow in the mountains, which would sure make my race interesting this weekend.

Lunch- 5 with Todd and Eric, then 6 with Eric behind GE.

PM- PM with Aaron and Justin.  Barry moved, so we can no longer meet at his house that was one mile from the park (**sniff**).  Aaron and Justin are recovering from the marathon so ran 3.5 with me, then I did about 10 more miles by myself.  First headlamp run, though many more will come thanks to daylight savings next week.

Something to watch before tonight.  I'm all in favor of the Mom and Dad tax, and what they do with raisins.

AM- BW. 4 mile warmup, 8 mile tempo in 49 minutes, 2 mile cool down. Happy Halloween, everyone.

Lunch- 8 with the guys. We decided we spend so much time together that our sense of humor has melded. Not sure if that's a good thing.

Lunch- 6 with Jim and Jason.

They've had to make the Shut In run tomorrow longer due to road closures (bonus miles)- now 19 miles of singletrack goodness rather than 17.8.  Sweet.  And Justin kindly volunteered to drop me off and pick me up at the end, so I won't have to freeze for hours on top of the mtn at the finish line while trying to hitchhike back.
