Very minimal soreness, only a little stiff.  Achilles is far better than I hoped it would be.  My house is 2/3 packed on a moving truck right now, so it's been a few busy days.  And I get to celebrate my birthday tomorrow by cleaning my house all day!

Are you up for a morning run on Thursday or Friday?

Paul- undecided. Not Friday- we're driving to SLC Thursday evening. I might go Thurs, but that depends if I feel ok and what schedule Marci has worked out for me. I know she's got some plans. What time/location were you thinking?

Around 7:00-7:30AM. Birch Creek Canyon, about 8-10 miles, pretty slow. That's what I'm doing tomorrow morning anyway.

The other option is that we could run the River Trail sometime during the day. We could carpool from my office.

Happy birthday (a day early) but I wanted to try and catch you before you leave! Have a safe trip home to NC...man that sounds weird to say!

Minimal soreness! Are you kidding me? I'm more sore today than I was yesterday.

From Jon on Wed, Oct 13, 2010 at 19:18:42 from 75.169.159.185

Yeah, Rob, my summer of trail running has pretty much made my legs bomb-proof in terms of being sore from hills. Heck, I had 127,000 ft elevation change during runs in just one month. So Monday's run was hard, of course, but not extraordinarily so for me. Probably my 4th hardest run this summer. And I probably had 10 runs with more elevation change per mile.

See, if you trail run enough, you can go back and kick the Grand Canyon's butt without your legs turning to mush :)
