The Bear 100 race report is finally posted.  After not seeing my family for 5 weeks pre-race, I spent my post-race days with them rather than on the report.  And, since I have been building up to this race for 2 years, the race report is a touch long.  Enjoy.

Jon, what an awesome report on an amazing race! I love this line: "Bear Lake loomed large ahead, a black ghost ringed by lights." Whatever comes next for you, enjoy it . . . you've earned it.

It was a good report, but I've seen longer.

Nice report and a job well done. A big accomplishment that took a lot to prepare for, and it paid off with an excellent result. Now, recover (for a little bit until next weekend) and refresh.

BTW, I will not be able to make the R2R2R event, sorry! Thanks for thinking of me and including me in the plans.

Thanks, everyone. It was fun- I highly recommend trail racing, and the Bear in particular.

Sorry I'm late on commenting but way to go Jon. Oh by gosh as Myler would say. Dude you did great. And like Paul said way to put together a plan (and this was a 2 year one) and work through all the steps along the way to pull of a once in a lifetime race. Not that you don't have bigger and better in your future. But you'll remember this one forever.

Good job man.

P.S. I emailed the stuff to the guys about R2R2R and I'm guessing that they like me will see how they feel after this weekend. But I'll let you know for sure by Monday.
