Enjoy running, stay fit (and maybe lose a few pounds). Play ultimate frisbee.

Unretire at some point

Personal:

I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos!   And I have the absolute best wife in the world.  And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!

Wish you could be down here to train Jon... that's just too much treadmill and elliptical. My hips always kind of bug after a long elliptical session.

Last spring when my problems increased the PT told me to use the theraband for resistance with leg raises- straight legged and clam shell, lying on my side, 2-3 x 15 reps, hold 5 seconds,each leg, couple times a day. I still do this and it has helped my hips and IT a lot. I managed to run a marathon with no hip or IT pain, which killed me in my previous marathon.

Jon - great performance last week. I really hope the hips get better. I won't give you advice because you don't need that your already know what to do when the bodies hurting.
