No run yesterday- left at 6 am for airport, flew to Maine to meet with customer, got to hotel late then did some work till 11, then laid in bed awake until 4 am, at which time I got up and left for return flight. Upon getting back to SC, I went straight to work and didn't get home till 5:30 pm. So it's been a long 36 hours with no sleep.

We did play frisbee today, though, even with all the rain over the past 2 weeks. Good game of 6v6, including 2 new people. My team won 5-3 (surprisingly), then we lost 3-1 in game of 4v4 (also surprisingly)

Maine sounds nice to me now for some reason. Cool and green. Sorry your trip wasn't more enjoyable.

The trip and Maine was actually quite nice, just short and sleepless.

By the way, Rob,I finished the Tribe book you recommended. Lots of good insights, esp about our society and veterans. I found it interesting how many people prefer war or disaster times as it unifies people

Tribe is a great one, and Maine does sound nice. Is everyone as unique as Stephen King?

Where you in Portland primarily, Jon?

Vis: He's a rare bird for sure. I'm from Maine, and he's not what you would call a quintessential heck of an imagination though.

Jason- the business part of it was in the booming metropolis of Rumford. So I flew into Portland, drove to Rumford (grabbing food in Auburn on the way up and back), and returned to Portland for the hotel. I didn't really see much at all.

That would not have been my first guess. Most of Maine is made up of small towns like that. Rumford is twice the size of the town I grew up in. Portland is the largest city at around 60,000 I think (that's city population, not the metro population, which is probably 4-5 times that).
