so whats this "hip therapy"- mostly the theraband leg raises stuff I told you about ?

wait til you get the itemized bill from PT- thats what we should be working in, the ultimate profit maker.. where else can you charge someone 30 bucks for a 5 minute warmup on a stationary bike, 30 bucks for a two minute ice massage, 70 dollars for ultrasound probe with hydrocortisone cream.... all of which can be done at home for free of course.

I'm looking forward to the bill, Rooster- the best part is I have a $3000 deductible, so I'm going to pay every penny of this... Ouch.

yeah, they tell you your first "x" visits are covered by insurance, but of course insurance requires you to pay the full deductibility before they cover anything. it is expensive.

and not to rip PT as I think it does have an important place- but my opinion- after one or two sessions of PT you basically can figure out everything that needs to be done, using the instructions they provide and also the internet, and do it on your own. The initial diagnosis and getting a rehabilitation plan are what are important, the PT sessions don't do anything you can't do by yourself. I imagine PT is very important for recovery from major trauma, breaks, tears, but for the small stuff- well, it is a pretty expensive way to do leg lifts with rubber bands :-)

I've got an appt this Friday, and probably won't go more than 1 other time before me race. And hopefully not after, either, baring any blowups.
