Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Mission Bay Path - 26+

Morning jog with Nica and Emily. What a way to start the day. Post run hit the Starbucks and then back to the hotel for some breakfast.

Also some weights and exercise bike in the fitness room.

All afternoon at San Diego Zoo.

Mission Bay Path - 1:00

Did 15 minutes on the treadmill waiting for Emily and Nica. Then we hit the hot tub and I followed that with 45 minutes on the ocean front path and the beach. Misty and rainy but a fabulous run.

Sea World in the afternoon.

With Emily and Nica. Ran really slowly except for a bunch of pickups (20 seconds - 1 minute) interspersed in the run. Cold out.

Run to the airport+ - 38+

Did 12 minutes with Nica and Emily, then ran to the airport to pick up mom and dad's car. Felt really, really out of shape this morning, but it was nice to move around Christmas morning before the eating and relaxing all day.
