Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Married with 3 children. Work as a school counselor.

Middle Fork Rd + Valley High loop - 50:44

Ran pushing Nica in the stroller from the cabin down the Middle Fork Road, over Smith Creek bridge a bit, and back home. After that, I did the Valley High loop. Another great day in the 70s. Didn't want to come home.

Canal banks + Borah track - 40:02

Hot out this afternoon and I am out of shape! Did a few 200m pickups at the track to try to get rid of some of the stiffness in my legs and back - running a little quicker sometimes helps. Struggled today but I'm glad I got out.

Train Depot and back - NT

At track practice. Stretching, drills, accels then a run to the depot and back with 4 short hills. Didn't run again in the evening, so a massive 2 mile day.

PMI: Military Reserve - 35:15

Nice afternoon to run. Emily was carrying Nica in the pack and she wasn't having it, so I had to cut my run short. Did some lower loops and then started on Buck Trail when I had to bail.

Later did a bit under 2 miles - part with Leo and part with Nica in the stroller.
