Running Accomplishments:

I've been running since junior high. Ran middle distance in college with a PB of 1:52 for the 800 meters, then continued running with varying degrees of seriousness throughout my 20's and 30's. Moved up in distance and even ran three marathons (2:43 PB). Now just trying to stay in shape and find balance in life in my 40's.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Work out 30 minutes a day, six days a week

 

 

 

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy and consistent.

Married with 3 children. Work as a school counselor.

Treadmill - 20:00

First run in a couple of weeks. Started at 11 min pace and made it down to 9 min pace. Covered a whopping 2.1 miles. So far no pain. Will try to work up slowly and show restraint. Not training for any races in the forseeable future, so no need to get crazy.

Weights - 25 minutes. Fatigued; got tired really quick after a couple of sets.

A little faster than yesterday. Averaged about 9 min pace and covered about 2.2 miles. No shin pain.

Ran with Conrad after work. First run outside in several weeks. Sunny day out and it was enjoyable, but I am severely out of shape.

Ran a bit quicker than yesterday with Conrad and Jesse. Felt pretty good and a nice afternoon to be outside.

A.M. - Canal banks - 12+

Jogged a bit over a mile with Leo to get him outside before we left.

P.M. - XC ski really easy about an hour in Sun Valley (Trail Creek) with everybody, then skate skiied back to the condo for 15-20 minutes.
