Greenbelt + Military Reserve - 2:30

Thankful that I got this one done. I felt horrible the first 4 miles, but when I hit the trails in the reserve, I just tried to relax and have a nice run. I ended up doing 10 miles in the reserve, before finishing up on the greenbelt at a little over 7:00/mile pace. Windy, but a great sunny day out and lots of flowers were blooming in the hills.

Wow, nice run! Is this the last long run before Newport?

Jeff - Yeah, that will be my last long run. I have the great potato half marathon this weekend, though. That will be my last real hard effort. Then a couple of marathon pace runs and some shorter stuff to get the legs turning over.

It looks like you've been getting some MP miles in this week as well. Have a great run in Ogden.

Good luck at the Great Potato HM. I have never run this one (half or full). I have heard so-so things about the race, like watch closely for the course markers! With the way you are running, you have a good shot at the win (or at least a top 3 finish dependin on what other speedy Boise runners show up).
