AM - 12.1 easy/mod miles around Tipton Lakes - 93 minutes

PM:

Ride out to GV on Bicycleslowly, and started pretty comfortable on CW loop around GV.

Started noticing a saved segment on the watch tracking taht I wasn't too far off from a 3rd place possibility.  Pushed it harder, cutting down as the loop went on and wound up getting the bronze on the loop.  The first 2 places are very solid times, that I won't be touching anytime soon.       47:13 for the 7.05 miles.  Probably could do a bit better with an intentional effort one of these days.

Bike ride home ata decent pace ("decent" for my amatuer cycling skills).  Almost 100 for the Monday - Sunday weekly mileage.

AM - easy 4.5 miles around neighborhood.  Left knee acting up in the first mile or so, but, loosened up.  Spied on a new listing over in Wildflower neighborhood.  Almost got caught peeking around at backyard by the current residents selling the place.  40:21

Lunch workout: bike out to GV again, since htat was so enjoyable last night.  6.6 miles slowly on the way out - 30 minutes.  Run slowly around the road loop in 62 min., and bike back home 6.6 miles in 25 min.  Tough one getting around the loop in the mid-afternoon humidity.  walking up some hills for catching the breathing and heart rate (this was supposed to be easy peasy)

2 hours easy to moderate - 15 miles.  Already huimid and tough to breath.

We are selling our house and buying another one simultaneous and it is more than a little disruptive for regularly scheduled training and work schedules.

PM ride over to REMAX: 3.82 miles - about 15 minutes.  Rode on new roadway alignment from SR 11 to SR 46 Eastbound.  Huge shoulder - good stuff.  hopped off, dropped off, and went for a 4.1 miles around town - 35:40.  Longer route for the ride home: 6.7 mile - 26 minutes.

Bike ride over to a live 5k race across town: 7.86 mile ride down SR 11 nad Central - 31:15.

About 120 people in the race, but, great organization kept the event safe.  Folks stayed away from each other, and the start was waved and spaced out with cones.  Hopped off the bike and ran some strides to warm up, realizing quickly the humidity level was awful.

Race started and my wave took off.  With Alphabetical groupings for the waves, I quickly was completely seperate from the already distanced other racers.  Pretty decent result for me, but, a massive effort for a pace I thought would feel a bit more relaxed - Splits: 5:45, 5:47, 5:44, 40 - 17:57.  Out and back course, so a bit easier to gauge things.

Chatted a bit with friends afterward, which was awesome (my favorite part of racing and running), and then got some much needed assisatnace on maintenance for my bicycle.  Josh really hooked me up with a derailer cable tightening.  a very simple little dial taht he turned fixed the non-functional derailer for me :).  Hopped on and headed for the track at Col North for some more work.  Put in 8x400 at 5k pace to finish off the workout and plan for running for the day.  biked on home the rest of the way going the long way.  fun morning.
