Personal:

400m/800m competitively in track in high school.  Took 15 years off. Started running again in 2010.  Married to my beautiful wife, Tiffany, with 2 little boys, now 4 and 6.  I'm a civil engineer working for the Indiana DOT in Seymour, IN.   I live in a slightly larger town about 20 miles north - Columbus, IN.  Originally from Lexington, KY.

I am feeling a lot better about life after a couple days recovery and eating some comfort foods and getting some new shoes -Brooks Adrenaline feel great!  Cushion and support are a strange feeling after running in old shoes and flats primarily.  :)

Back to it today:

AM TM at gym.  Easy run/Shakeout - 30min. - 3.5 mi.  Started turning it up a bit at the end to get ready for this afternoon's workout. 

PM Lunch - TM at gym - it is raining outside.

WU w/ strides,

I'm sure you have been feeling the way I did a few weeks ago after a bad half marathon. Honestly, I'm not sure what I have for Chicago. Not much we can do now. Just trust your training and do your best I guess.
